Salon MonteVino was held at the Hilton Hotel in Podgorica on March 11 and 12, organized by the National Association of Sommeliers and the Wine Academy of Montenegro. The event that creates the wine scene attracted representatives of around 140 wineries from 15 countries of the world, where thirty exclusive novelties were seen and tasted among 800 different labels.
The MonteVino Wine Salon, as an unmissable event that has been shaping the wine scene in Montenegro for ten years, represents the most prestigious wine event in the country. This event brought together wine enthusiasts and experts again, and Podgorica once again became the center of the Balkan wine scene. The National Association of Sommeliers emphasizes a special focus on the promotion of local wineries and support for their progress on the wine market, emphasizing their importance in raising the profile of Montenegrin wines and the wine sector as a whole.
The goal of MonteVino is to gather all the relevant actors of the wine scene in one place, and to improve it through mutual contacts.
